We had a fantastic baptism!!

Hi cute family. How are you??

We had the literal best baptism this week it was amazing and we love our new converto so much:):)

I am really good. I am happy, we went to the temple with investigators on Saturday morning, and then in the afternoon we had a baptism. He is a convert. I am so happy because we have been working really hard. We have transfers on Sunday, but I don’t think that I am going to be going.

We have lots of great investigators and we just need to help them make right choices because they are really struggling right now, but the miracle was the baptism of Adrian. He is so great. He has thyroid cancer and is 20 and is really just a great person. I am so happy for him.

Yesterday after they confirmed him he went up to bare his testimony and like took 15 minutes but it was cool because he knows that it is true so we are all happy!!

But really, thank you for all that you guys do for me. I love you all so much. I am so happy to be a missionary and to be serving The Lord. I feel so blessed to be here and want to enjoy it. It is really hard for me sometimes but I think that everything happens in the timing of the Lord and he loves us so much that he sometimes gives us a little bit more to handle to become better!! One scripture that I love and have probably shared before is that God loves a happy giver and it is true. We must give him a full offering of our souls and he will accept it. Omni 1:26

Anyways, I have to go now, but I am happy to write with you and hope that your week is awesome.

Loving my life in Mexico!!

How is everyone?? On Saturday we are going to have a baptism! He is the most converted investigator that I have meet on my mission. He is so great!

Crazy right to think that I will be coming home soon?? Hahha I don’t want to come home, really it scares me. The mission is the best because we are like walking on cloud 9 all the time. I feel like coming home is going to be death because it is like the real world now and I got to work and study. I am not too worried, really, but I am happy in Mexico for now:)

I have fallen a couple of times, the most recent his morning, and I thought that I was going to die in Mexico. It was scary because we have some like spiral stairs in front of our house, and to wash our clothes we have to go up and wash and so my feet like got wet and I was wearing flip flops and as I was coming down I biffed it and hit my knees pretty hard. But other than that things have been well. The days are long here, and I am really tired usually, but I love the work. Today we asked a sister to make some skirts for us and so we are both really happy. My companion is teaching me how to dance spicy Latin.

Do you remember when a missionary wrote to you guys about a split that we did (the American sister) Well I have been writing all of the parents too of the sisters that I have done splits with and one of the moms just wrote me back:) it is so sweet!

I am so happy to be here, I really do love it. And I am super grateful to be able to be a missionary. I think that it has been something that has changed the way that I think of so many things. I think the biggest thing that scares me is to come home not changed or to fall back into things that I did before. I just want to be a good person and be deserving of the blessings that I have received. It is hard to explain sometimes, but I am super happy to be here. I is hard, like really really hard and it pushes me every day, but I also love that fact.

Okay I gotta go now, but I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! HAVE A GREAT WEEEEEKKKK:):)

Sooo happy!!!!

Hey everyone!! How are you??

Today we went to Teotuicican!!!!!! It was awesome. We had a blast, and everything is going well here. I am super happppyyyy, the dog bite is better now, and I am just happy. We are going to have a baptism on the 15

It is a historical ruin site that is not in the mission but we have permission one time during the mission to go and so today we went!! It was a blast. Tons of stairs. And the investigator is one that we began teaching together when I first got here. He is 20 and is named Adrian. He is great and super chosen. Super quick and a great person. We are really excited for him!! And yes, we got to watch all the sessions! They were all in Spanish..

I really loved conference. I think that they talked so well about our responsibility as missionaries, and really about being valiant in our testimonies. It is so important that we do so and also that we are always applying the atonement in our lives. LOVED ITTTT

We went with two recent converts who are so great. They are named Sarah and Abinadi  and we love them so muchooooo!!!

I love your letters,  I print them off and have time to read them over during the week. It always gives me something to do to keep me grounded in my Utah customs. I really do like it because I love how you guys write.  You guys do write differently. Like little words that I now have forgotten and stuff like that. It’s weird.

The companion is so much better. We are both strong-headed so we sometimes bonk on that but we get along well. She loves to dance and so we say the prayer at 10 30 and turn off the lights but we are always dancing. I got ahold of a bunch of new songs of the children’s hymns but they are like upbeat and so it is pretty fun. And splits are awesome. I love it. I love knowing people more, and this week was my first zone conference and we taught! It was a lot of fun.

Okay so these are a bunch of pics from today and the conference. We ate tortas (mexican super sandwiches) on Saturday and they were huge and really yummy, and mom would have gotten mad because we bought them off the street but hey all is for the most part well with the stomach. only a little bit of direah!!

Investigators that are golden!!

I am doing really well. The ward is really different and basically everything is really different. I am learning a lot here and we have some investigators of true gold. They are so great and I love them! We walk a ton and also we are always running with our heads cut off. I have done my first splits and they are really fun and I am trying really hard to help the sisters. It really pushes me but I am happy!!
My first split with Sister Zarate. I went to the
area of Lomas for the day and it was great!

The hand is all better now, and the dog still lives so i guess we are all good there!

Also and the foot I think is getting better...?? It hasn’t been bugging me nearly as much!

Just for the record, this was my last companion
I miss you guys a lot too, and I kind of hate writing sometimes because I leave with so much more things to say and feel like I am honestly terrible at expressing everything. Soooo many things happen each week and it is so crazy but I love it so much. But, I also miss you guys too . I feel like I will never get comfortable enough to feel like at home here. I think that is the way it is suppose to be, right?  We see so many things each week.

I am really happy, I am nervous sometimes because I have a ton of responsibility and my companion is great but doesn’t teach me anything and so I am learning a lot for my self and so that sometimes is stressful.

LOVE YOU MAMIIIII
