Pray for the power to obey!!

I am doing really well!

We were going to have a baptism on Saturday but it fell through, but we had like 7 investigators come to church so we are happy for that. Transfers are tomorrow but we don't have any, so we are going to stay the same for another transfer more! Hermana Santacruz, my first entranee, is going to be under our stewardship so it is going to be fun to do splits with her!!

The mornings no one really opens up to us so they are sometimes long. My companion was really angry this week for a couple days, but I really was trying hard to understand and listen to her, and she told me that it is just hard for her to accept her faults and so it was good and now we are on good terms. It is just sometimes hard when you can’t choose who you want to be with

The investigator that did not get baptized is16 and is really good and we love her, but she has terrible friends and so yeah they have a little bit held her back but we are working hard with her. She knows what is good and what is bad and so I think that it is going to happen soon

And the huge problem that I have always had on the mission is that young couples who are not married but live together. It is super hard and we have two couples of investigators that are great but are not married and that is what is stopping them from being baptized.

It is frustrating sometimes because they want to be baptized and get sealed in the temple and when we taught about the law of chastity, they asked us if they need to sleep in different beds until they get married or in different rooms. They are great people, but need to get going on it if they are going to get baptized soon! Also the brother is trying to quit smoking, and has done a great job, but needs to just like cut it off now so we are working hard with them. We had a family home evening last night in the home of some members with the two couples who aren’t married and they both have put goals and dates to do so,...

Once again come for me to log off. It is a bummer always, but i hope that you all have a good week and that we may all obey the Lord in all things:)

We had a fantastic baptism!!

Hi cute family. How are you??

We had the literal best baptism this week it was amazing and we love our new converto so much:):)

I am really good. I am happy, we went to the temple with investigators on Saturday morning, and then in the afternoon we had a baptism. He is a convert. I am so happy because we have been working really hard. We have transfers on Sunday, but I don’t think that I am going to be going.

We have lots of great investigators and we just need to help them make right choices because they are really struggling right now, but the miracle was the baptism of Adrian. He is so great. He has thyroid cancer and is 20 and is really just a great person. I am so happy for him.

Yesterday after they confirmed him he went up to bare his testimony and like took 15 minutes but it was cool because he knows that it is true so we are all happy!!

But really, thank you for all that you guys do for me. I love you all so much. I am so happy to be a missionary and to be serving The Lord. I feel so blessed to be here and want to enjoy it. It is really hard for me sometimes but I think that everything happens in the timing of the Lord and he loves us so much that he sometimes gives us a little bit more to handle to become better!! One scripture that I love and have probably shared before is that God loves a happy giver and it is true. We must give him a full offering of our souls and he will accept it. Omni 1:26

Anyways, I have to go now, but I am happy to write with you and hope that your week is awesome.

Loving my life in Mexico!!

How is everyone?? On Saturday we are going to have a baptism! He is the most converted investigator that I have meet on my mission. He is so great!

Crazy right to think that I will be coming home soon?? Hahha I don’t want to come home, really it scares me. The mission is the best because we are like walking on cloud 9 all the time. I feel like coming home is going to be death because it is like the real world now and I got to work and study. I am not too worried, really, but I am happy in Mexico for now:)

I have fallen a couple of times, the most recent his morning, and I thought that I was going to die in Mexico. It was scary because we have some like spiral stairs in front of our house, and to wash our clothes we have to go up and wash and so my feet like got wet and I was wearing flip flops and as I was coming down I biffed it and hit my knees pretty hard. But other than that things have been well. The days are long here, and I am really tired usually, but I love the work. Today we asked a sister to make some skirts for us and so we are both really happy. My companion is teaching me how to dance spicy Latin.

Do you remember when a missionary wrote to you guys about a split that we did (the American sister) Well I have been writing all of the parents too of the sisters that I have done splits with and one of the moms just wrote me back:) it is so sweet!

I am so happy to be here, I really do love it. And I am super grateful to be able to be a missionary. I think that it has been something that has changed the way that I think of so many things. I think the biggest thing that scares me is to come home not changed or to fall back into things that I did before. I just want to be a good person and be deserving of the blessings that I have received. It is hard to explain sometimes, but I am super happy to be here. I is hard, like really really hard and it pushes me every day, but I also love that fact.

Okay I gotta go now, but I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! HAVE A GREAT WEEEEEKKKK:):)
