Well, what can I say? I would quickly just like to touch on a few things that have really changed me in the mission.
Well, what can I say? There are a few things that have really changed me while on my mission.
First, never trust a street dog!! Two reasons:
1. They just might bite you and that is really just gross and hurts a lot!!
2. If they don't bite you, you may get to know them. They may actually be really nice and you just might give them a name (Jack Reggie) and you want to take them home! But, there is a silly little mission rule against that!! But really, there are some pretty cute street dogs here if anyone is looking to adopt.
Additionally, I have learn to see simply how how blessed we are!!
Sometimes, actually all the time, I think that we forget about the crazy big blessings that we have every day. Like a washing machine, or a car, or money to go to the store and buy food for dinner. I have been amazingly blessed by my Father in Heaven to be able to see things that have changed me. Really, we are a blessed people.
As I have been studying 2 Nephi in The Book of Mormon, I have been able to quickly count all of the blessings that we recieve for being part of the House of Isreal (Jacob). I am not going to lie, the whole geneology thing has always really confused me but in short, we, as members of The Church we are the blood-line or grafted in parts of the House of Israel. This is a HUGE blessing. Our lives are fulfillment of The Book Of Mormon and we have the duty to bring to pass the gathering of Israel. This is amazing and missionary work plays such a foundational role in that.
But, as members and neighbors, family and friends, we also have a big role to play. We must ´not be asleep during the restoration´!! We need to declare unto all people what we know to be true and we will be greatly blessed.
The Lord said
12 And at all times, and in a ll places, he shall open hismo uth and declare my gospel as w ith the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give unto him strengthsuch as is n ot known among men.
I know that the Latter Day Promises are true. I also testify that the tenth Article of Faith is true. That the literal gathering of Isreal is happening, and we have the privledge to participate in it! We must be ture and valient, and the Lord will bless us. I also know that as we share the gospel with those we love, we will recieve His help from the other side of the veil. I have felt it and I know that it is real. We are so blessed, and we should help others to recieve the same blessings.
I know that the work of salvation is in full swing, and we need to get out there and WORK!! You all have special talents, and you are the only YOU. I do not think that there are many more beautiful things than the thought of our individualness. We must all
shine!! I share these things in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I hope that you all have a wonderfull week.
