Another dog bite....

SORRY! I am on super late getting on today cause my companion was bit by the same dog as I was today!!!!!  It was such a show and not a good show, she ended up needing to go to the hospital. :( It was the same dog and everything! It has made my love for canines largely diminish. Her hand looks a lot like mine when he bit me but also she kicked him when he stared biting her and so he bit her stomach. It was a pretty intense battle scene, for sure, and I did feel badly. Sticken Street dogs, they are seriously horrible!

So to say the least, we have had quite the day we also received some really sad news, which is that President Titensor will not be coming back to the mission. They detected more cancer than that was thought at first in Sister Titensor, and so they are going to be moving back to Utah for treatment. I am super sad for that because I really love them lots. They have both been a great help and support for me in the mission. It was super sad when we read his letter to us in the leadership council. But I know that everything happens for a reason. It is something that actually makes me feel really sad. But I know that she is in great care, and they said that the cancer is pretty profound, so I know she is where she needs to be right now…. Just hard

President and sister Garcia are watching over us, so they can figure out what to do, and, I am pretty sure that it is going to be for a short time because they were only called to fill in for them for about 10 days, so the whole situation is a little crazy. But all in all, I feel in peace because I know that the Lord is in charge.

But today I will only have like 20 minutes to write because literally we were in the hospital all day!

Everything is going really well, this week was honestly hard emotionally because we found out the information about Sis. Tensor in our leadership counsel.  I love leadership training, but, with learning that info, plus trying to figure out a few problems with some sisters that I am over and teaching for two days, I am beat, happy but just a long couple of days with all that is going on.  Please keep Pres. Titensor and his wife in your prayers.  I really love them, and pray that I will be able to see them when I get home.  I am really happy though!! I have been learning a lot and really trying my best.

On a happier note, we have some great investigators!
We found a new family that asked us to come and 'bless their home' because they have been having some weird problems and so last week we went with a priesthood holder and it was weird, but they have been doing well lately and they came to church and yesterday they went to the visitor’s center in El DF and so we are happy for them!

I want you all to know that I am super happy here, and I am trying my best to get a little better each day. I am going to have a great week, and right now I am going to watch out for my cute companion that got bit today:) I hope your week is great and please pray for President and his wife. They are great people that I love very much!!

LOVE YOUUUUUU

FELIZ DIA DE MUERTOS FAMILIA Y AMIGITOSSS! - HAPPY DAY OF THE DEAD MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS

FELIZ DIA DE MUERTOS FAMILIA Y AMIGITOSSS!

Well, what can I say? I would quickly just like to touch on a few things that have really changed me in the mission.

Well, what can I say? There are a few things that have really changed me while on my mission.

First, never trust a street dog!! Two reasons:
1.  They just might bite you and that is really just gross and hurts a lot!!
2. If they don't bite you, you may get to know them.  They may actually be really nice and you just might  give them a name (Jack Reggie) and you want to take them home!  But, there is a silly little mission rule against that!!   But really, there are some pretty cute street dogs here if anyone is looking to adopt.
Additionally, I have learn to see simply how how blessed we are!!

Sometimes, actually all the time, I think that we forget about the crazy big blessings that we have every day. Like a washing machine, or a car, or money to go to the store and buy food for dinner. I have been amazingly blessed by my Father in Heaven to be able to see things that have changed me. Really, we are a blessed people.

As I have been studying 2 Nephi in The Book of Mormon, I have been able to quickly count all of the blessings that we recieve for being part of the House of Isreal (Jacob). I am not going to lie, the whole geneology thing has always really confused me but in short, we, as members of The Church we are the blood-line or grafted in parts of the House of Israel. This is a HUGE blessing.  Our lives are fulfillment of The Book Of Mormon and we have the duty to bring to pass the gathering of Israel. This is amazing and missionary work plays such a foundational role in that.

But, as members and neighbors, family and friends, we also have a big role to play. We must ´not be asleep during the restoration´!! We need to declare unto all people what we know to be true and we will be greatly blessed.

 The Lord said

12 And at all times, and in all places, he shall open hismouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump,both day and night. And I will give unto him strengthsuch as is not known among men.

I know that the Latter Day Promises are true. I also testify that the tenth Article of Faith is true. That the literal gathering of Isreal is happening, and we have the privledge to participate in it! We must be ture and valient, and the Lord will bless us. I also know that as we share the gospel with those we love, we will recieve His help from the other side of the veil. I have felt it and I know that it is real. We are so blessed, and we should help others to recieve the same blessings.

I know that the work of salvation is in full swing, and we need to get out there and WORK!! You all have special talents, and you are the only YOU. I do not think that there are many more beautiful things than the thought of our individualness. We must all

shine!! I share these things in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen. ❤

I hope that you all have a wonderfull week.

Pray for the power to obey!!

I am doing really well!

We were going to have a baptism on Saturday but it fell through, but we had like 7 investigators come to church so we are happy for that. Transfers are tomorrow but we don't have any, so we are going to stay the same for another transfer more! Hermana Santacruz, my first entranee, is going to be under our stewardship so it is going to be fun to do splits with her!!

The mornings no one really opens up to us so they are sometimes long. My companion was really angry this week for a couple days, but I really was trying hard to understand and listen to her, and she told me that it is just hard for her to accept her faults and so it was good and now we are on good terms. It is just sometimes hard when you can’t choose who you want to be with

The investigator that did not get baptized is16 and is really good and we love her, but she has terrible friends and so yeah they have a little bit held her back but we are working hard with her. She knows what is good and what is bad and so I think that it is going to happen soon

And the huge problem that I have always had on the mission is that young couples who are not married but live together. It is super hard and we have two couples of investigators that are great but are not married and that is what is stopping them from being baptized.

It is frustrating sometimes because they want to be baptized and get sealed in the temple and when we taught about the law of chastity, they asked us if they need to sleep in different beds until they get married or in different rooms. They are great people, but need to get going on it if they are going to get baptized soon! Also the brother is trying to quit smoking, and has done a great job, but needs to just like cut it off now so we are working hard with them. We had a family home evening last night in the home of some members with the two couples who aren’t married and they both have put goals and dates to do so,...

Once again come for me to log off. It is a bummer always, but i hope that you all have a good week and that we may all obey the Lord in all things:)
